Makes sense! Maybe I wouldn’t have the **.idea/ ignored and also the explicit ones, all at the same time.

One aside is, the runConfigurations.xml file content is being moved to .idea/runConfigurations/ and the various configurations are being split out in different files, starting with IDEA 2016.1/AS 2.2. This means these rules will need to change to account for that — if not now, soon.
